| William Flowers was born to Jim Flowers and Mary Williams on January 15, 1870. He passed away in April of 1948, at the age of 78. William was married to Lucy Jenkins. Lucy and William were blessed with nine children: Harold Flowers, Rhodie (Rose) Brooks, Shelley Flowers, Mary Toliver, Hattie Turner, Lee William Flowers, Daisy F. Steen, Willie Ann F. Smith, and Fred Lee Flowers. Lucy Jenkins was born on April 29, 1876, to Thodie and Prompie Jenkins. Two of the children of Lucy and William Flowers were ministers, Rev. Harold and Rev. Lee William Flowers. Lucy passed away Nobember 1954 at the age of 78. William Flowers siblings were Julia Williams, Sophia Ford, George Ford, Bud Ford, and Elvorie Ford. Lucy Jenkins Flowers' siblings were Ben Jenkins, Jack Jenkins, Hattie Jenkins and Beckie Jenkins. |
